Hesi Power Zyme – enzymes to break down dead plant material

Hesi Power Zyme is a liquid enzyme additive for maintaining growing media in soil, coco and hydroponic systems. It helps break down dead plant material around the roots. Added to your watering solution, it suits beginners and experienced growers alike and complements your existing feeding programme.

How the enzyme extract works

The formula is based on a biotechnologically produced enzyme extract from Trichoderma fungi. Its cellulase enzymes break down cellulose in dead plant material into sugars, which plants and microorganisms can use as food. Power Zyme therefore targets residues that accumulate in the growing medium as roots continually renew themselves.

When to use Hesi Power Zyme

You can start during vegetative growth and continue using the additive during flowering. It does not replace your base fertiliser. In soil, you can combine it with Hesi TNT-Complex growth fertiliser, followed by a Hesi flowering fertiliser for soil.

Dosage and application in water

Mix 2 ml of Hesi Power Zyme per litre of water, equivalent to 20 ml per 10 litres. Apply once or twice a week, following the appropriate Hesi feeding schedule. The additive can be used alongside your fertilisers and boosters. Stir thoroughly to distribute it. Include it in your normal watering routine rather than watering more often simply to apply it.

Choose from 500 ml, 1 L, 2.5 L, 5 L and 10 L to suit your regular usage. Keep the product tightly closed in its original container in a cool, dark, frost-free place, away from direct sunlight.
