Hesi Hydro Wuchs – one-part nutrition for hydroponic growth

Hesi Hydro Wuchs is a liquid base nutrient for the vegetative stage in hydroponic systems. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers, it provides a straightforward way to feed growing plants. The one-part formulation means there are no separate A and B base nutrients to measure out.

Ingredients for vegetative growth

The 3-2-4 NPK formulation supplies nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Secondary nutrients, chelated trace elements, vitamins and amino acids complete the blend. Chelated means that the trace elements are held in chemical complexes. The nutrients are immediately available to your plants.

Dosage and nutrient solution checks

During vegetative growth, mix 50 ml with 10 litres of water, equivalent to 5 ml per litre. For cuttings, the Hesi Hydro feeding schedule specifies 25 ml per 10 litres, or 2.5 ml per litre. Add the concentrate to the water and mix thoroughly.

Then check the pH and electrical conductivity, known as EC. Hesi gives a pH range of 5.8–6.2 and an EC value of up to 1.5 mS/cm as guidance. These are reference values rather than universal limits, as water quality can affect the readings.

Supplements and the transition to flowering

For the establishment stage or during periods of stress, you can add Hesi Wurzel-Complex according to the Hydro feeding schedule. When your plants enter flowering, switch the base feed to Hesi Hydro Blüte.

Container sizes and storage

Choose from 1 L, 5 L, 10 L or 20 L containers. At 5 ml per litre, a 1 L container of Hesi Hydro Wuchs provides enough concentrate for 200 litres of water, calculated from the stated dose. Keep it tightly closed in its original container in a cool, dark and frost-free place.
