Professional fertiliser for iron deficiencies and to support growth and flowering.
As it is for humans, iron is also an essential trace element for plants. It plays a decisive role in photosynthesis and is a component of chlorophyll, as chlorophyll always has a central ion of iron. It is easy to spot an iron deficiency in a plant, as the plant lacks chlorophyll and appears pale, while the leaf veins remain green. The growth is also usually significantly slowed.
Here, Canna Iron Plus (Fe) can come to the rescue: This fertiliser feeds your plants quality iron chelates, which are easy to absorb. You can use this product to treat an existing iron deficiency, but also to stimulate growth and flowering. You should always follow the correct dosage instructions for your situation, as overfertilisation can be just as harmful to a plant as a deficiency can.
For strong iron deficiencies, a ratio of 1:500 is recommended (30mm/l or 2ml/l), for mild iron deficiencies, a ratio of 1:1000 is recommended (15mm/l or 1ml/l). For upkeep and general fertilisation, we advise a ratio of 1:1500 (10mm/l or 0.75ml/litre).
Note: Canna Iron Plus (Fe) contains 0.06% iron (0.03% Fe-DTPA & 0.03% Fe-EDDHA).
