Bionova BN-Zym – help break down plant residues in your growing medium

Bionova BN-Zym is a liquid enzyme preparation for root-zone substrate care. It supports the breakdown of plant residues and encourages bacterial activity within the growing medium. Suitable for beginners and experienced indoor and outdoor growers, it adds substrate care to your routine and is particularly useful when reusing soil or coco.

Enzymes that help process organic residues

Enzymes speed up biological reactions. BN-Zym contains cellulase and xylanase, among other enzymes, which break down components of plant cell walls. This helps process organic residues and supports the release of nutrients held within them. All enzymes used in the preparation are free from animal substances.

Use alongside your growing medium and nutrients

BN-Zym can be used in soil, coco, hydroponic and aeroponic systems. When reusing soils and growing media, its enzymatic action helps break down remaining plant material. It is compatible with all Bionova nutrients and stimulators, making it straightforward to incorporate into an existing Bionova feeding programme.

Dosage throughout growth and flowering

Use BN-Zym continuously from the first week of growth through to the final week of flowering. Add 0.5–1 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 5–10 ml for a 10-litre batch. Apply the diluted solution through irrigation so that it reaches the root zone directly. BN-Zym is not suitable for foliar spraying. Also follow the application instructions on your product label.

Choose 250 ml, 1 L or 5 L to suit the amount of irrigation water you prepare. Your water volume and selected dosage determine how much product you use.
