A vital element for any plant. For prevention and treatment of nutrient deficiencies.
Trace elements, or micro-nutrients, are needed by all plants, for example to produce proteins, enzymes, or hormones, and are required during both the growth and flowering phases.
There are seven essential trace elements that are important to a plant?s vitality, which are iron, manganese, zinc, copper, chlorine, boron, and molybdenum.
Bio Nova Micro-Mix contains five of the most important ones:
0.36% Fe (Iron HEEDTA)
0.08% Mn (Manganese EDTA)
0.4% Bo (Boron, monohydrate)
0.09% Zn (Zinc EDTA)
0,06% Mo (Molybdenum, Sodium molybdate)
Boron is used for the membrane structure and for building cell walls. Iron is a component of chlorophyll and plays an important role in photosynthesis. Manganese also plays a role in photosynthesis and strengthens the plant?s defence mechanisms. Last, but not least, zinc promotes amino acid synthesis and therefore the growth of the plant.
Bio Nova Micro-Mix serves as a preventative measure and treatment against potential nutrient deficiencies. Apply 2.5 to 5 ml per 10 litres of nutrient solution, as required. The product may also be used as a basis for a complete fertiliser solution (2.5 ml per 10 litres of water):
A dosage of 1:1000 increases:
the Fe value by 100 umol
the Mn value by 25 umol
the Bo value by 140 umol
the Mn value by 16 umol
and the Mo value by 5 umol
Note: If you are already using the Bio Nova main fertiliser, Micro-Mix is not necessary.
