Athena Pro Core – foundational mineral nutrition for growth and flowering
Athena Pro Core is a water-soluble dry fertiliser that forms the base of the Athena Pro Line. Paired with the appropriate vegetative or flowering component, it creates a coordinated two-part feeding programme. It suits growers who prepare their own nutrient solutions and manage plant nutrition through reservoirs or dosing equipment.
Nitrogen and calcium at the heart of your feeding programme
The 14-0-0 NPK formula supplies nitrogen for chlorophyll and amino acid production. Calcium supports plant structure, while additional micronutrients contribute to essential metabolic processes.
Pro Core is not a complete standalone fertiliser. During vegetative growth, pair it with Athena Pro Grow for vegetative nutrition. In the standard flowering programme, use it alongside Athena Pro Bloom for flowering nutrition. Each partner provides the nutrients intended to complement the base component at that stage.
Fully soluble for irrigation and dosing equipment
The mineral-only formula contains no organic material and dissolves completely when prepared correctly. This makes Pro Core suitable for nutrient reservoirs, drip irrigation and automatic dosing systems, including Dosatron and Netaflex. Ensure that no undissolved fertiliser particles remain before using the solution.
Prepare stock solutions separately before diluting
Start by preparing Pro Core as a separate stock solution: a concentrated fertiliser solution for subsequent dilution. Dissolve the granules completely and follow the stock concentration specified in your chosen Athena feed schedule. Add each stock solution individually to the water used to prepare the final feed.
Never combine different fertilisers in dry form or as undiluted concentrates. Do not feed a concentrate directly to plants. Measure the granules by weight rather than volume, and check whether your feed schedule specifies dry fertiliser weights or volumes of a particular stock solution. Once the final nutrient solution is thoroughly mixed, check its pH and EC.
Choose your pack size and keep the granules dry
Athena Pro Core comes in 4.54 kg or 11.34 kg sizes, with bag or box packaging depending on the selected variant. Store the granules dry in their closed original packaging to prevent moisture from causing clumping.
