Atami ATA Terra Leaves – feeding strong shoots and healthy green growth
Atami ATA Terra Leaves is a liquid mineral base nutrient for plants growing in soil during the vegetative phase. It supports strong shoot development and encourages the production of chlorophyll, the pigment responsible for green foliage. Applied through your watering routine, it suits both new and experienced growers who prefer to adjust feeding to their plants’ needs.
Formulated around the properties of soil
Terra Leaves has an NPK ratio of 2-1-3, taking account of the nutrients already present in soil and its ability to retain them. The formula contains no added calcium and is particularly suited to slightly calcareous potting soils. When deciding how much to feed, consider the existing nutrient content of your soil growing medium.
The fertiliser can be used for vegetables, fruit and herbs, as well as houseplants and other potted plants. The amount required depends on the individual plant and its growing conditions.
Dilute at 1–5 ml per litre of water
During vegetative growth, add 1–5 ml of Terra Leaves per litre of water. A 10-litre batch therefore requires 10–50 ml of fertiliser. Choose the amount according to your plants’ requirements rather than automatically using the highest concentration.
The concentrate dissolves directly in water and is suitable for all irrigation systems used with soil. This allows you to incorporate Terra Leaves into either hand-watering or an automatic irrigation setup.
Switch base nutrients when flowering begins
In the ATA feeding programme, Terra Leaves is replaced by Atami ATA Terra Max flowering nutrient at the start of flowering. This gives each stage its own designated base feed, with Terra Leaves covering vegetative growth and Terra Max taking over for flowering.
